Megan & Kevin | Engaged

Honestly this is probably one of my favorite couples to date! From the second I met them and started to discuss what we wanted to do with their engagement photos, I knew we needed to do something fun. Megan's bouncy personality mixed with Kevin's calm demeanor was all captured in this fun yet serene session at the boardwalk.

While walking from spot to spot, I was able to really get to know them a little more and ask them about the proposal! Who doesn't love a good proposal story right? Her love for Disneyland made the perfect setting for Kevin to pop the question on her birthday in front of Cinderella's castle (after many attempts to do so at the wishing well). Everything about this story made my heart swoon. And not to mention that ring! He did very well don't you think?

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day with these two, and I just love how the images came out. I am now even more thrilled to photograph their wedding day! But until then, take a look at some of my absolute favorites from the session!

Mikaela's Senior Portraits

Words cannot begin to describe how incredibly proud I am of this girl! After working her butt off to earn her Bachelors degree at Cal Poly, she just secured a spot at Loma Linda University School of Public Health!

I was able to drive down to San Louis Obispo to have some much needed girl time with her and while I was there we drove out to Avila Beach and took her senior photos! It was so much fun to wander around this cute little beach town, admire the beautiful sunset, and afterwords enjoyed an amazing dinner!

The Stoy Wedding

One of my favorite weddings of the year was without a doubt Sarah and Cody's. The overall theme was right up my ally, and not to mention their cupcake bar was to die for! There really isn't too much to say here other than how lucky I was to be apart of their special day. And I'm excited to share some of my favorite pictures from the day with ya'll!

Breanna and Harrison Engagement Session

I absolutely love doing engagement sessions! This is a time where I can get a little more comfortable with clients and make them feel a little less awkward in front of the camera before the big day. I tend to be quite the chatter box during these types of sessions which may or may  not include a few awkward jokes to get a few laughs on camera!

I loved shooting these two lovebirds, and it was especially a nice mix up to add their adorable puppy to the mix!

Vintage at the Boardwalk

This has to be one of my favorite shoots to date. I had such a fun time with Alyssa, a farm girl from Bakersfield, CA that lives in a past decade. Her style is so inspiring and timeless, I am just so happy I was able to collaborate with her and capture a few moments from the evening.

Alyssa was nothing but lady like, and you can even see it in her images.

It was so much fun being at the Boardwalk after they had closed for the evening. I was able to catch some really timeless shots like this one.

And not to mention some great colorful shots like the one below. Surprisingly, the boardwalk wasn't that creepy after hours as we though it would be!

And balloons are always a good idea
